Who are eligible for Amateur licenses in India?
The Amateur licence will be issued to citizens of India above 12 years of age who pass the ASOC exam. .

General grade license, gives more power to handle your radios. You need not be a restricred grade licensee. You can appear for the general grade exam. You can also appear for Restricted and General grade exams together in a single sitting. General grade being the Advanced grade license in India, you need to push more efforts in studies and in the exam. It is 2hour exam for both sections and Passing 8wpm in Morse test. Pass in all the three together to get the general grade license. So, my tests are also advanced, with tougher questions. The porcedure is same as the restricted grade tests but the questions are selected every time randomly from the question pool. You get fresh questions when ever you try your hands on general grade tests. All the best.
